Good morning everyone, missed you all yesterday, not sure where the day went! Glad you are taking things slowly Mick, and hope you settle in well. We have a dull morning at the moment, but not chilly. I am going to get out into the garden again, so much needs to be tidied, and pots put away, so busy day ahead. Hope you all have an enjoyable day.

I am off to decorate cover my DGS's 1st birthday cake. His first birthday.

Fairly bright here in North Bucks. Cleaning and baking for me today. Plus I have the Granddogs for company.

Whenim64 here on Greatnan's laptop. Just relaxing in Greatnan's chalet apartment and having a cup of tea. Its her birthday today. Another beautiful day in the Alps - I've lost count of how many different mountain passes we've driven over to see stunning views. Off for a visit to more beauty spots and have a picnic. then tonight we'll have a celebratory meal in a restaurant down in the village. It's a hard life.......

Wow, what a way to celebrate a birthday. Have a drink for me while you're at it.

Gorgeous, gorgeous sunny day, washing outside, I'm going down our gardens (communal) to sit by the River Thames in a minute with a cup of coffee just to sit and watch the boats bobbing around and to savour the moment.

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes. Like anno, when is a very appreciative passenger, so it is a joy to show her 'my' alps.

Bright and sunny in London- patio doors open. It appears to be a day of washing, cleaning and cooking. A woman's work is never done.

I have laminate floors everywhere but my cat was sick on the rug in front of the fireplace. I thought that was what laminate floors were for?

Glad that the move went well Mick and happy birthday Greatnan. Mine was last Sunday and I still have not got my head around that number.

Good afternoon everyone - Happy Birthday Greatnan. Her's to a lovely meal this evening. Lovely and warm today - bright sunshine. We have been shopping all morning - despite the weather we visited Decathlon and I bought a lovely pair of short purple wellies with a fur lining -€15 - so am now ready for anything - rain, mud and snow.
Happy unpacking Mick - I am still sorting from our move last year. Most of the house is OK but we have not got the sitting room right at all and I am not quite sure why - been looking again this morning for a TV unit but could not find the not right size.

Good afternoon everyone, the rain that has been threatened all week has finally arrived today. Very grey, very heavy and very cold suddenly. Storm overhead at the moment. It is supposed to be fine again tomorrow but I can't imagine it. Purple wellies appeal to me, they would go with my purple umbrella. DH is saying that at least we wont have to buy any more water in.
