Mine is the same. I do actually have three grandchildren but when I try to change it, it stays the same. I have added a comment that what it says is not true.

If GNHQ wish one member a Happy Birthday, should they not then wish everyone (who declares their birthday) a Happy Birthday too. Otherwise it seems a bit ....

It could mean that the threads were clogged with thousands of happy birthday emails 365 days a year though.

Surely GNHQ would only post once per birthday on the appropriate thread...? Not thousands per day...?

I'm not suggesting that Elegran. I'm saying to wish one member a Happy Birthday (which incidentally was nice) but to then ignore another's just the day after is, shall we say undiplomatic. When you're in a position of power/authority then you need to avoid any suggestion that you are not being even-handed.

If we declare our birthday on our profile (otherwise how do the clever clogs at HQ know?) would it not be possible to put a birthday greeting at the beginning of each day's threads - or even run a birthday thread (like the Good Morning....day one) on which we could- if we wish - post birthday wishes. OK I know it's a bit of extra work, but there might be in it?
