What a difference a studio hair-do makes!

(Ignore the dress and awful tights)

Glamorous Grey

She does look good doesn't she her hair look's so much softer than her normal style and what a fab colour.
Maybe she has chosen the thicker tights to disguise any veins in her legs (if she has them) a pity she didn't choose a light tan or natural tone.

She looks great. Love her hair! Wish I could get mine to go like that.

Good message she was putting over too. Bless her.

annodomini Sat 28-Sept-13 09:22:49

Her teeth could do with some attention. grin

Aka Sat 28-Sept-13 09:23:58

Why doesn't the poor woman get a breast reduction?

shysal Sat 28-Sept-13 09:30:49

Major surgery, Aka, far more risks than the usual boob job!

Gally Sat 28-Sept-13 09:32:49

Perhaps she's happy with them Aka. Not everyone wants to put themselves through an unnecessary procedure! I think she looks really good, but I must admit I would find having big boobs a bit of a 'drag' wink

Aka Sat 28-Sept-13 09:36:57

Well I'm quite well endowed in that department but I'd not wish to have to 'drag' those around with me. I really feel for her and while I know it's a painful operation surely she must suffer neck and back pain now she's getting on a bit?

gracesmum Sat 28-Sept-13 09:52:39

Good legs too, maybe opaque navy tight (or even natural) would have looked more on trend but hair, lippy and blusher spot on!

Ana Sat 28-Sept-13 10:17:25

Those tights are truly awful! But the hair is fabulous, even if she does remind me now a bit of Camilla...

Penstemmon Sat 28-Sept-13 10:36:14

She has furniture disease: her chest is falling into her drawers! There is a lot of it about!

I would recommend not gloss tights!

Signed ,

Camilla? No - Judge Jeffreys, more like...

Mishap Sat 28-Sept-13 14:16:41

Heavens! - she looks like a pantomime dame! What can she be thinking of?

Granny23 Sat 28-Sept-13 14:34:24

I'm no great fan of Anne Widdicombe but really! What a hatchet job. It is not easy being an older woman in the public eye. If this had been a picture of one of 'us' at a family wedding, we would all be saying how nice she looked.

Maggiemaybe Sat 28-Sept-13 14:50:44

I like the look - she's making the best of what her mother gave her. Apart from those horrendous tights. She certainly looks much better than she did in the days of the scary jet black bowl cut.

Mishap Sat 28-Sept-13 15:28:26

I can't see anyone turning up to one of our family weddings looking like that! She looks a complete fright. Sorry, but that's how it looks to me.

POGS Sat 28-Sept-13 15:43:00

The good thing about her is, she wouldn't give a stuff what we think. Go Anne.

Careful with the boob jokes ladies. I'm another one who's boobs drop with a thud. grin

Penstemmon Sat 28-Sept-13 15:45:30

That is why I felt safe saying it Pogs I know the problem well!!grin

Penstemmon Sat 28-Sept-13 15:49:28

Like others have said I am not a fan of hers politically nor her pubic persona but all power to her elbow in her quest to feel find a new life after politics ..she seems to have found herself... but only after after her mum died.

absent Sat 28-Sept-13 19:21:15

I am amazed to learn that she is only 65. I thought she was much older than that and I still think she looks much older than that.

j08 Sat 28-Sept-13 19:23:09

Yes. I thought she would be older than that! shock

gracesmum Sat 28-Sept-13 22:46:39

Pubic persona??? *Penstemmon? grinblush
