Driving licence

Just out of interest, how many of you still have your original green paper driving licence ? I still have mine from 1971. If I am ever asked to show it, I suspect it would fall apart. With luck it will last me until 2024 when I will have to have a photo' card.

I still have a green paper licence issued in 1980.

I still have green one in its original plastic wallet which, considering its age is in pretty good nick. It replaced the little red book which I still have. It tells me it is valid until 2018. I had to show it to my garage last week when I had a courtesy car and the not-so-young male receptionist looked at it as if it was something out of the Ark and said he'd never seen 'one like that before' confused
