How old…

…do your grandchildren think you are? I have never pretended to be younger than I am – older, when I was a teenager and wanted to see an X-rated movie or drink in a pub – but never younger. I have quite happily told them my age but they still persist in believing that I am thirty something. I have even explained that I was, of course, grown up when I became a mummy and if their mummy is 30, then I must be at least 50 but am, in fact, 63. No, the maximum they will allow me to be is 35. It's sweet really.

I'm another whose age is well known. When my first child was born I was one of the youngest mothers at the school gate - and nineteen years later, when my youngest was born, I was one of the oldest.
My youngest daughter did once ask me, in all seriousness, what it was like to wear a bustle. grin

My 9yr Grandson thinks I'm 25 because his Mum told him she was 21, (she is 26), therefore I have to be older than 21 so he decided I was 25, I can't argue with that :D My 4yr Grandson reckons I'm 8 as to be 8 you have to be grown up lol, he hasn't yet realised that his 9 yr old brother is older than me, awww bless him :D
