whenim64 Fri 18-Oct-13 18:09:18

Oo-er, where was this beautiful sight spotted?

absent Fri 18-Oct-13 18:26:06

A leather fetish?

JessM Fri 18-Oct-13 18:31:43

Desperate to keep the wind out?

absent Fri 18-Oct-13 18:34:58

Bad taste?

NannaAnna Fri 18-Oct-13 18:35:02

If the wearer was happy in it, does anything else matter?

petallus Fri 18-Oct-13 18:50:24

On a man a bit yuck. On a woman rather dashing in an androgynous sort of way.

j08 Fri 18-Oct-13 18:58:06

Had she just got off of a motorbike? Helmet under arm?

annodomini Fri 18-Oct-13 19:11:29

Go on, kitty, it was you, wasn't it? wink

kittylester Fri 18-Oct-13 19:56:09

Never me!!!!!!!

At Birmingham Rep, last night! It wasn't biker wear but looked like a selection of all the leather bits she had in her wardrobe. thlgrin

She also had what my DDs call a granny perm. [thlconfused}

gracesmum Fri 18-Oct-13 19:56:25

A cow perhaps?

kittylester Fri 18-Oct-13 19:57:48

I know nothing about her personality' thlgrin

j08 Fri 18-Oct-13 20:01:09

What did you see kitty? Was it the Martin Shaw thing?

Tegan Fri 18-Oct-13 20:49:49

Oh; kitty. What are the roads like in Birmingham? Is Queensway still closed?? We're going to the Hippodrome tomorrow.

Tegan Fri 18-Oct-13 20:52:26

..just googled it; sounds as if it's open again..

kittylester Fri 18-Oct-13 22:11:24

Yep jingle. Martin Shaw was brilliant blush but we weren't too impressed with the production, it was a bit shouty! We last saw 12 Angry Men at the Fringe about 5 years ago and thought it was much better.

Tegan - not sure about Queensway - we went to the wrong theatre to begin with - DH apparently knows Brum like the back of his hand - he went to University there - 50 years ago. thlgrin

j08 Fri 18-Oct-13 22:17:33

envy He is very nice. smile

Tegan Fri 18-Oct-13 22:24:38

kitty; he didn't know a lecturer called Stanley Taylor did he? He was my cousin. Bet you went to the Hippodrome first. Thats where we're going; it's next to the back to backs so we're hoping to see them if we get there early enough. I can't believe I used to drive round Birmingham; even the thought of it now brings me out in a cold sweat confused.

No, Tegan we went to the Alexandra first having parked at the Albany. It cost us £4 for 5 minutes and then £9 at Brindley Place. Lovely car park just a tad expensive!!

Was your cousin a lecturer at the Dental School - I'll ask DH.

We had a WILT (woman in leather trousers) in the office, one of the directors. My colleagues (especially the younger ones) would flinch and fall about when she'd tell us that they were a secondhand find on e-bay ... [eek emoticon]. She even had a red pair.

Tegan Sat 19-Oct-13 08:57:43

No kitty; knowing my familyI bet it was something to do with enginering!

feetlebaum Sat 19-Oct-13 09:16:32

I had a living-in girlfriend who bought a pink leather suit, that came with skirt and trousers... she liked pink...

Is it me or do leather strides just look sweaty?

annodomini Sat 19-Oct-13 10:00:05

I'd expect leather trousers to creak when the wearer sat down. grin

hebrideanlady Sat 19-Oct-13 10:01:23

I had a red leather trouser suit, I loved it and didn't give a dam if It looked "tarty"
