kitty I sent you [hugs] but 1000 messages later means that we need to open an extension.

It's been a strange day. Apart from worrying about the whereabouts of Greatnan I've not been very productive. The weather is behaving in an unsettled fashion. Inky clouds, Lashing rain. The promise of a brighter sky. Please keep coming to the kitchen. I would miss the company of you lot if you stayed away. smile

Rather full of eggs, bacon etc. Think I will curl up on this sofa (very nice it is too) and snooze while the rest of me goes to Oxford.
A good spot to remember, as I am feeling a bit off colour and not really like going out. I expect it will be ok when I get there.
Wake me later?

Lona, what a shock for you! I hope things progress normally from now on and they release you pronto. Good to hear you so upbeat about it. Good luck x xx

Loma better out than in, as my nan would say - not necessarily about appendices. Hope you are feeling well. brew

Lona glad you're on the other side of that flowers I babysat last night and my girlies have just gone into beds since one of them was caught hitching her leg over the cot side this week. Lovely to sit with them for a bedtime story in their room. Their mum and dad not so keen this morning to have two toddlers shouting them from the safety gate at 5.30 am grin

AlieOxon Sun 17-Nov-13 09:21:55

Oh dear, Lona. Glad you are feeling better! flowers

I brought the shortbread, in my old tin with the milkman's horse on the top (a favourite but long since retired) - but everyone has eggs and bacon, is there any left?
Save the shortbread for later.....keep? no it doesn't - it disappears too soon!

Yummy eggs!

Coffee or something stronger needed; I was on gc sitting duties all day yesterday as DD and SiL were at a wedding. I took the them to the village Sale of Work - big mistake. Not sure if I will be able to show my face for some time blush. I heard DD return at 1am and once they were safely asleep, I couldn't get back to sleep - typical. Now fending off the mountaineer as he ascends the worktop in the kitchen..... They go home tomorrow so it will be deathly silent. It's all or nothing these days.
*Lona - good heavens, what a shock. Hope, having the offending article removed, you now feel in the pink flowers
soop congratulations on your car parking - I could hear Mr Soop's sigh of relief from here wink

Just a message to say the shortbread is cooling and I will bring it in the morning - going to bed now as I have to be up early. Goodnight!

Galen that is something that you just cannot waste.

soop are you sure that the skip is not gold plated? That is a horrendous amount to pay for the privilege of getting rid of one's rubbish.

Would a singing kettle, lovely as the idea is, not waken the GN's who are resting their eyes?

Tara would be frightened of Rory even although he is a quiet boy now that he has had the snip. She is bullied daily by 2 ginger toms so now thinks that every male cat is the same.

Galen Sat 16-Nov-13 19:07:25
