And a piece of the enormous carrot cake soop left. Sorry to hear about your rafters Alie.
I should point out that I said I had a cr***y time not that I had been crying, although I nearly did once, in frustration! I was more likely to bash someone - but didn't! Don't want people feeling sorry for me when I'm just p***ed off!!
As my DDs say 'GGGGRRRR'
Oh Alie Here's a coffee with a stiff shot in it!
Have a lovely day tomorrow soop . I feel sure you'll both have a good giggle or two.
and much more besides. xxx
Would you believe it! Not only have I come very late to the opening, but a very long message that I was about to post to you lot left the screen without as much as a by your leave.
Well, in a nutshell, thank you for your companionship. It means a lot to me.
Well done to all my Granspals who have had to deal with irritations and worse. kitty I hate to think of you in tears. I hope that whatever it is that's causing you distress, can be resolved.
Thanks for the bubbly and fancy wotsits, Nellie You're a star.

In my absence [I'm meeting bags tomorrow] I want to make yourselves comfortable. Rory has a super new Owl cushion. He'll possibly share it with you if you're soppy with him. I shall photograph the cushion for you on Friday. It's super.
I'm sorry that the previous message went AWOL. I had wanted to say a few special words to those I feel need cheering. I'm being called away. Cats to feed. A shower to have. Food to prepare. Until Friday, take good care of each other.
Spoil sport
I'm just back from the 'elderly' friend's dentist up in the wilds of Perthshire. We drove home through Gleneagle - it was glorious, but a bit parky. She offered me dinner at the Tomaukin Inn at Glendevon but as it was only 3.15 and I had had 2 boiled eggs for my lunch, I declined the kind offer ( but I will have some bubbles and 'canaypes' if there is enough to go round - ta very much!) She was very grateful for the taxi service. Job done. Halo shining above head.
Just back from the dentist, no work to do thank goodness, although still costs an arm and leg!
kitty and gracesmum Put your feet up and I will make you both a nice
and cut some carrot cake for you. It's very yummy
What a comfort to have lovely friends in here to share our woes with
You could do the ironing GM and I could bring mine round too!
Hope Dh is 'getting there' and in less pain.
My days, at the mo, are a series of irritations (mostly wilful misunderstandings) but they add up to a heap of wotsit! Never mind - I'll eat cake instead!
All Galen's fault!! [off in a huff] emoticon
Sorry to hear you've had cr**py days kitty - hope things are getting better?
I wish to seriously complain!!! The following post was started with at least 6 spaces to go, but by the time I corrected my typos and tried to post I was told the thread was closed!
It's like getting to the supermarket on Christams Eve when you've forgotten the turkey and finding you are 5 minutes too late.
Anyway, I managed the cut and paste thingy - so you're getting it anyway.
Are you going to cut a ribbon Soop? (May husband and ay.....)
I have come in from the depressing and cold weather which seems to be reflected in too many posts/threads on GN. Where is our sense of humour? Feeling quietly calm however as have bought C presents for the little boys - both satisfyingly large boxes without breaking the bank - Playmobil for one and Duplo for t'other (hope they're not reading this, but at 3 1/2 and 2 unlikely even if VERY clever lttile boys!)
Life is a round of DH's appointments it seems - blood test Monday, stitches out today another INR test tomorrow but hey - it's cheaper than online shopping!
Baking is fattening so I think I might try knitting this afternoon - or I could do ironing?? No......that's miserable too!!
I hope Icy, Nellie and others with problems find peace of mind soon, that Lona is completely better and Soop catches up on her sleep. (Your"Pomeranian sounds like a wee furry hottie!!! )
Well, it is nice in here. I've brought some as a 'welcome' present.
Where is that carrot cake soop promised. I've had a cr***y couple of days so I'm going to sit here and wallow in and .
Hope everyone with worries will come and have some 'me-time' too. Isn't that a horrid expression.
Nellie thanks for sorting things out. I managed, yet again, to get my knickers in a twist. As you say...back to the existing kitchen extension. Plenty of room for the time being. I shall hang a notice on this kitchen door...out of bounds until building inspector has inspected...after which, you lot are welcome.
NB NB NB
How about this. Please use soops kitchen extension 2 for now until the original is full. The building inspectors have not yet visited to assess it is suitably posh for Rory. This will also save posts getting lost.
Poor soop she must be all of a dither moving back and forth and our dear Rory will be wondering where he is going to bed down take care soop x
I made a mistake. We do not need to move in here just yet. So sorry...everyone back to the other place. I shall collect Rory and the date slices and sit back with a sigh...
I thought that we had already reached the 1000 messages. Maybe we haven't. Anyway...for when we do, here's the new extension. I'm making it warm and cosy and there are date slices to be enjoyed. Rory has claimed his corner of the sofa.
