It is not very often you get 'good' customer service but I was so pleased with the manner and way Vax dealt with a problem I had, I thought it was worth mentioning for reference.

I bought a Vax cleaner from Argos with a 2 year warranty. It broke down 2 weeks ago, after being used for 19 months, I contacted Vax. I laughed when the customer service told me to switch it on and let her hear it running, over the phone. I did so and she said 'Yep, it sounds like the motor has gone'.

She asked me for the details of the sale and Vax would send me out a replacement. I didn't even need to return the appliance. Blimey I thought that was easy.

The replacement came today and not only was it obviously replaced I had an updated, more expensive model. Now that's what I like to see. smile

That's good to hear POGS. I am contemplating buying one of their hard floor cleaners, so am more inclined to do so now.

DD has had the same response from them including the updated replacement. Definitely to be recommended.

Pogs such a good service from them,we had same response from Lakeland about a Ramoska cooker that my neighbour purchased a new one delivered 3 days after notifying of breakdown,it's a pity all the other companies don't take notice and act in the same way.Well done Vax
