I went to a wonderful exhibition a few years back in a modern art gallery in Malaga. The artist had collected a lot of stuff from mediterranean markets - plastic fish, rugs etc all very colourful - on the floor, on the walls and dangling from the ceiling. The theme of the exhibition was names (many of them mysogynistic) for female genitalia. In various languages. Loved it.

Did anyone else see the Judy Chicago 'Dinner Party' exhibition in Camden back in 1984/5? The dinner plates were beautiful celebrations of powerful women ignored then in history & used vaginal symbolism - shocking to many who never batted an eyelid at the phallic symbolism all around us.

Someone should point her to Georgia O'Keefe, who does vulva art that actually looks like art.

In the tv programme on Liberty's on Monday he had a bag that was buttocks on one side and the full set of male accoutrements the other, including a bell dangling from the willy.
