I thought I'd seen most things.....................

As if that wasn't enough to put me off my lunch you'll see photo's of vagina cakes at the end of the piece. Double yuck!! shock

whenim64 Wed 04-Dec-13 14:35:55

She'll soon stop that after a bout of toxic shock! Sometimes, I despair........

Galen Wed 04-Dec-13 14:41:06

Anything for pubicity!

Scooter58 Wed 04-Dec-13 14:41:40

Words fail me !!!!

I wonder how she stops the ball of wool from tumbling out as it unravels.

I always preferred a knitting bag.

Lona Wed 04-Dec-13 14:55:00

It does make you wonder what goes on in some peoples' heads!

Lona Wed 04-Dec-13 14:55:30

Ha ha, not to mention their vaginas! grin

Flowerofthewest Wed 04-Dec-13 14:57:17

WHY WHY WHY???? stumped for words! how silly! Yuk.

whenim64 is quite correct, toxic shock syndrome will concentrate the mind if it does not kill it permanently.

Definitely yuk.

annodomini Wed 04-Dec-13 15:13:44

I wish I hadn't looked at those cakes! tchshock

What is the point of this? Does she not have enough to do?

It seems to me that she is the one with the problem, trying to convince us of something that we already know (but apparently she does not)which is that that a vagina is an OK thing to have.

Practically we do not shove knitting up our fannies, because it is a highly lubricated area and the wool would get sticky.

JessM Wed 04-Dec-13 15:19:38

I'm afraid it is the sort of thing you have to come up with to get your MA in conceptual art (pun intended...)
Itchy? The wool looks really fluffy, She'll be pulling bits out for months. hmm
I wonder if she carries on during her period to get a bit of colour into her finished work?
grin

Ana Wed 04-Dec-13 15:31:51

She says she intends to in the article, Jess!

An Aussie called Casey’s a wonder,
Inhibitions are all thrown asunder,
She sits in a room casting off from her womb,
And a jumper appears from down under. grin

whenim64 Wed 04-Dec-13 15:34:26

grin

annodomini Wed 04-Dec-13 15:36:13

A Turner Prize nominee of the future perhaps?

Galen Wed 04-Dec-13 15:37:40

Nobody got my pun!tchsad

Lona Wed 04-Dec-13 15:44:43

Galen That's because we are so used to your FF syndrome grin
It was very clever!

The woman in the video actually shows the bloodstained knitting that she's already done!

I didn't see the cakes hmm

sherish Wed 04-Dec-13 15:45:36

Galen! ' Pubicity' that's very good!

As for the knitting, what's wrong with knitting straight from the ball on your knee or having roll about the floor????

Some strange people will do anything.

FlicketyB Wed 04-Dec-13 15:46:32

Galen some of us did. I have just read down the post and picked it up in passing.

Perhaps whoever is doing this could get together with Grayson Perry. In the tv programme on Liberty's on Monday he had a bag that was buttocks on one side and the full set of male accoutrements the other, including a bell dangling from the willy. All in a nice textured and moulded chestnut leather.

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Wed 04-Dec-13 15:47:07

I did smile

Literally no words...

How did she come up with that? "ooh, run out of bags to keep my wool in. I know..."

Lona Wed 04-Dec-13 15:52:20

She'll be spinning the cotton from tampons next!

Aka Wed 04-Dec-13 16:29:37

TMI for me.

Nelliemoser Wed 04-Dec-13 16:30:01

Just as my Physiotherapist suggested I could now start knitting again after about 8 months of shoulder problems and six weeks after surgery, this nonsense come along to to put me right off.
Attention seeking comes to mind. grin
