I love my tablet, it is smaller and lighter than an ipad - something to consider if you have a dodgy shoulder like me and a very heavy handbag - it is a google nexus7. The only thing it doesn't do, maybe the later version does, is take forward photos. I can only take selfies. Also although I can watch iplayer, and videos on youtube, it doesn't let me watch them through facebook so I have to watch them on my computer if someone has posted something funny. At first it didn't support flashplayer at all, but they updated it. There are some excellent tablets around that are so much cheaper than ipads. What do you want to use yours for? I use mine to check on my ebay purchases, read books I have bought on the kindle app, I run a forum and can do that, I have several language learning apps, I can do my tesco shop before I get home from a holiday, I catch up with emails, and use facebook and catch up with tv programmes. I can use it as a satnav, and can skype with it. I can watch films on it and can download things to it from my phone and computer. There is a huge range of free apps that you can use.
I wished when I bought mine that I could borrow all of the tablets for a week to try them out. I would never want to be without my computer but we were away all last summer and I managed perfectly well, although I did have to stand on a chair in Colombiers in order to be able to watch the last episode of The Returned...
