Dull and misty in London but thankfully not the thick fog that we had yesterday. Some roads were fairly clear, others I drove down from memory the fog was so thick.

A quick good morning to you all, slept late this morning, terrible night then got up at 6 a.m. for the usual, back to bed, and instantly fell asleep for a couple of hours! Glad all are feeling a little better, it is cold and damp and frosty and horrible here, off to play bowls again. Enjoy your days.

Mornin' all. Getting up with a stinking cold, the kind I haven't had for years, it's been coming on since the w/e. It isn't on my chest just now thank goodness.
Have to dress and let in gardener who is going to go on with fixing the peeled patches on the house wall....I hope.
I am determined to get to my family history meeting this afternoon
Back later!

Good morning from East Sussex. Misty, cold, damp but the sky is blue. Lots to do today. Looking after DGD while her mum goes to school to watch nativity play by elder grandchildren.
Realised with much distress that the crochet blanket from hell that I am doing is going wrong. One side I can put right but the other side may have to cut down if that's possible otherwise have to undo months of work.tchsad

Good morning All. It was so crispy and white here I thought we'd had a powdering of snow. But it's only frost. And freezing fog.

I knit socks Nellie I love the results but never feel comfortable knitting in the round and if I make a mistake it's hell unravelling it.

Love the idea of legwarmers for your dgs. Good luck.

It's a pleasant morning here in Cheshire might catch up with some gardening.

I was awake and couldn't sleep best to do somethng constructive. sherish I think I agree. The big problem is it is such a small project to get around. Too small for circular needles.

Good for you Nellie hope you have great success with your challenge. Happy Thursday everyone, my daughter is off to Weston Hospital for the results of her MRI scan today. She is desperate to be able to walk, get back to work and drive her car, poor dear!

Good morning all. It's been slightly frosty overnight in Manchester. It makes a change from, rain.

Nelliemoser, I would knit it flat and sew it up. I have done this in the past with bobble hats that were on four needles. I know what you mean about proving to yourself. I did the same with crocheting.

Morning from Surrey. Chilly and grey but no frost today. Have my last full working day today before Christmas there will be odd bits to do but mostly I will have time for some festive activities now! tchgrin

Good morning from cheshire. I have been up since 6:15 trying to master 4 needle circular knitting on a leg warmer for a toddler!
Why not just knitting straight and sewing it up I dont know?
Sometimes I just like to prove to myself I can do things!
