At least they're all just about turkeyed out now!

I agree, Tara likes to lick all of the cheese if on display so it is difficult keeping it out of her sight and smell. If she fancies any she will have a nibble which is just what guests like to see. I am not too keen eating cheese licked even by my own cat!

Strictly "entre nous", ladies and gents, Mr P had an interview on Monday that seemed to go well, so cross what you can, send a positive thought, prayer or whatever.

grannyactivist so glad that you are having a great time, every possible good wish to you, and your family.

Deedaa so far no turkey for the mogs, but glad that yours are enjoying it! Maurice however did very much appreciate a special "extra" of some of the smoked haddock sort of soufflé thing that is always part of our Christmas day. We have yet to break open a lovely selection of cheeses, but probably will this evening.

We would like to be able to put them on the coffee table in the sitting room, so that we could dip in at our leisure, but the mere smell of what has to be referred to as "solid dairy product" in Maurice's presence seems to turn him into a cheese crazed hooligan!

My four have been in cat heaven, turkey, turkey and more turkey even the one with the bad stomach has made a miraculous recovery!

Silly little baggage doesn't really like anything that isn't cat food, however she's quite partial to a drop of milk now and then.

Maurice, on the other hand likes turkey, smoked salmon, stilton, bacon rinds.....................

Marelli, parson's nose? Surely not, that cat deserves the best, turkey breast if that is what phoenix and mr.P are having.

From me too, phoenix, the warmest of good wishes. You jolly us along and make us laugh, while sometimes struggling yourself. Let this New Year be the turning point for you and Mr P. Hope poorly puss can manage a wee bit of mashed 'parson's nose' today. Xxx

Happy Christmas phoenix I think I get more pleasure from your posts than anyone else's. Hope your cat is getting better - I was at the vet yesterday with our 16 year old, seems to be a relatively minor problem and we should get through Christmas all right.

Our Pudding is a very old girl, 15 or more, and sends her very best Christmas wishes to your dear cat. She's got her nose out of joint as our daughter's little dog, Slinky the 13 year old dachs, has been sleeping by my bed whilst his 'mum' was in the UK for 10 days- she'll be so happy tonight that she can jump on my or OH's bed tonight and have us to herself Bless her white paws.
