A very wet and blowy night, cloudy and damp this morning.

Typical Monday morning weather here - dark and damp. The festivities are definitely over now. The family are all back to work or school and we have a full week of school pick-ups and entertaining DGC. Please let there be no snow or gales.

Clouds scudding across the sky here too. Taking the OG to Salisbury Hosp for 'blood-letting' ( too much iron!) Hoping to be treated to lunch as a reward for my taxiing duties.....

Good morning all from East Sussex. It's blowing hard but at the moment it's not raining. Have to take the dog to the pet groomers in half an hour. Will have to look out his jumpers for when he comes back.

I am not long up. There are rainspots on the window but it is dry and dare I say it, warm at 12C. As usual I think that it is the calm before the storm which has been forecast.

The sky is bright but the trees are still tossing. Is Cheshire the only place where it's not gloomy?

Absolutely howling up the Straits at the moment, horizontal rain and rather dark still. So if it is not doing this yet in the north of England, it will be soon.

Dry and reasonably bright in Brum. Still very blustery though.
