Good morning, bright and sunny in the north east.

Hello Mick good luck at the eye hospital let us know the outcome. Guess what .. Grey and raining again in kent today as usual. Huff huff :0(

Dry and reasonably bright in Brum. Still very blustery though.

Absolutely howling up the Straits at the moment, horizontal rain and rather dark still. So if it is not doing this yet in the north of England, it will be soon.

The sky is bright but the trees are still tossing. Is Cheshire the only place where it's not gloomy?

I am not long up. There are rainspots on the window but it is dry and dare I say it, warm at 12C. As usual I think that it is the calm before the storm which has been forecast.

What sort of dog do you have Brenda? Ours has his grooming appointment on Weds. He hates it!

Good morning all from East Sussex. It's blowing hard but at the moment it's not raining. Have to take the dog to the pet groomers in half an hour. Will have to look out his jumpers for when he comes back.

Typical Monday morning weather here - dark and damp. The festivities are definitely over now. The family are all back to work or school and we have a full week of school pick-ups and entertaining DGC. Please let there be no snow or gales.
