Grannyknot It's a good feeling isn't it. smile When my DD told me that news first thing I did was to burst into tears, daft old bat that I am. That was getting on for 2 yrs ago now the little chap is nearly 16mnths.

I can finally confirm <does cartwheels> that my first grandchild is expected on my birthday this year in July smile smile smile

My son and DIL (got married at the end of September last year) are expecting a "honeymoon baby" LOL (now there's an old-fashioned saying for you) and because she's nearly 40, we've all been holding our breaths till tests and scans etc all carried out.

Timing couldn't be better because I am retiring at the end of June.
