I can finally confirm <does cartwheels> that my first grandchild is expected on my birthday this year in July 
My son and DIL (got married at the end of September last year) are expecting a "honeymoon baby" LOL (now there's an old-fashioned saying for you) and because she's nearly 40, we've all been holding our breaths till tests and scans etc all carried out.
Timing couldn't be better because I am retiring at the end of June.

Grannyknot It's a good feeling isn't it. When my DD told me that news first thing I did was to burst into tears, daft old bat that I am. That was getting on for 2 yrs ago now the little chap is nearly 16mnths.
