I can finally confirm <does cartwheels> that my first grandchild is expected on my birthday this year in July smile smile smile

My son and DIL (got married at the end of September last year) are expecting a "honeymoon baby" LOL (now there's an old-fashioned saying for you) and because she's nearly 40, we've all been holding our breaths till tests and scans etc all carried out.

Timing couldn't be better because I am retiring at the end of June.

Thank you everyone! This baby has made so many people so happy already smile and it is wonderful to share it on here.

And so many forum names to choose from ... ! grin

The other thing that has just dawned on us is that we will either have a tiny, tiny baby (it's due a couple of days before) OR, a very pregnant DIL, at the aunt's (my daughter) wedding. Which is being held in the sticks in Devon. (Puts hand to forehead).
