...that a very sensible thread discussing household chores has considerably less contributions than a thread discussing fit blokes on the telly!!! shock hmm

Is this indicative of the present generation of the slightly past their best more mature Flower of British Womanhood?! shock hmm again!

Galen I don't think so. How can they roll up one trouser leg if they aren't wearing any trousers? Besides, I don't think those aprons are designed for housework, any more than a Lonsdale Belt is designed for holding up trousers.

Kiora Wed 29-Jan-14 21:25:35

Waxed or unwaxedwink

KatyK Wed 29-Jan-14 21:20:11

I keep seeing signs on lampposts around here advertising 'naked personal trainer'. The mind boggles!

Galen Wed 29-Jan-14 21:14:49

Oh!
I gather we are talking about the younger members of the freemasonry lodges?

newist Wed 29-Jan-14 20:44:45

I got that the wrong way round, they are called, butlers in the buff, not male order blush

newist Wed 29-Jan-14 20:37:47

A hard working butler, can be hired via "male order", Not wanting to lead anyone astray, they are butlers in the buff grin

glassortwo Wed 29-Jan-14 20:18:51

Well if they (the fit young men in aprons) are willing to go through the pain of waxing their bits who am I to object grin

absent you have to do something to make housework interesting wink

Ana Wed 29-Jan-14 20:14:48

grin Got my brackets mixed up - not surprised....

Ana Wed 29-Jan-14 20:14:06

I'm rendered speechless with shock yet again! shock
(Bet it's painful having their nether regions waxed! [grin)]

Lona Wed 29-Jan-14 20:11:54

Stop it now!! hmm blush

Kiora Wed 29-Jan-14 20:03:21

Talking about fit young men have you noticed that today's fit young men are generally hairless. I have it on good authority that they are often hairless all over including their nether regions. What's that all about? I don't like too much hair but fit young men should have a bit of course hair to run ones fingers through surely. Given the option (unlikely) between body hair or a tattoo I'd have the body hair. Oh to be young again oh the wonderful memories.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 29-Jan-14 19:59:27

Little minx! shock

grin wink

newist Wed 29-Jan-14 19:56:40

I forgot, they did have a tie and cuffs on

newist Wed 29-Jan-14 19:54:10

The butlers my DD hired for her hen party, only wore an apron

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 29-Jan-14 19:51:46

I wondered that Absent. hmm

absent Wed 29-Jan-14 19:49:47

Point of clarification please. Are the fit young men doing the housework wearing only aprons?

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 29-Jan-14 19:49:34

shock Leave off! grin hmm

Ana Wed 29-Jan-14 19:42:46

I was too shocked to comment as well. I sat in Pedants' Corner for a good hour before I could face the outside world again...hmm

Wheniwasyourage Wed 29-Jan-14 19:29:49

Yes, Soutra, quite right. I might have beaten you to it with a comment about the use of 'less' and 'fewer' but when I read the dreadful word shock I was completely overcome with a fit of the vapours and I have only just recovered.

Now I shall sit in a darkened room and consider the relative merits of attractive men and household chores.

Soutra Wed 29-Jan-14 14:52:27

And I am equally disgusted that you said less contributions instead of * fewer* !shock

glammanana Wed 29-Jan-14 14:30:33

Umm Musketeers blush would slap their thighs anyday grin

Lona Wed 29-Jan-14 14:14:31

Honestly jings anyone would think you've never drooled over fit young men.............................Merlin/Colin comes to mind hmm

I'll just stick with the leather pants and doublets on the Musketeers fit young bodies. [yum]

harrigran Wed 29-Jan-14 13:47:00

I had to google Captain Pickard grin
Agree with your list roses, big turn off some of them.

rosesarered Wed 29-Jan-14 12:03:31

or beards!

rosesarered Wed 29-Jan-14 12:02:52

Also, I don't like men in aprons, leather included, no matter how fit they are.
