Good Morning Everyone,

Same here in North Wilts, Michael. Up since 4 a.m. But at least it's a lovely day.
Good morning. Sunny in West Midlands.
Good morning all, Yes, we have another sunny morning, and a fine day promised. Collected my new specs yesterday, and playing in a bowls pairs competition this morning, so will be able to check them out - I can always blame the glasses for the state of play. George my partner is a lovely man, his wife is in a home with dementia, and has no idea what is going on in the world, George cared for her as long as he could, and now has a little dog who goes everywhere with him, so the bowls disaster apart, I am due for an enjoyable morning with friends. Enjoy your days
Misty and sunny in Thames Valley.
Off to have my hair cut - I look like a shaggy dog.
Have a pleasant day All and Mick.
The sun is shining again here on the south coast. It warms the cockles of your heart to see such a lovely spell of weather.
It's the dress rehearsal tonight for my choir's 1940s themed concert on Saturday so I am looking forward to seeing all the outfits! I believe we have an ARP warden, a Sergeant Wilson and numerous land-girls! I shall be Mrs Pike!

Lucky you, Gaga belonging to a choir, how I would love to do that, but as I have said before, can't even find the note, so the probability of holding it is remote. However, when performing, an appreciative audience is important, and I am that audience! Thank you for your kind words about my son, reading some of the posts, here, makes me realise just how lucky I am.
Good morning!
A glorious day here in North Leicestershire and the forecast is for the same all day! I'm feeling slightly groggy as the first DGC woke at 5.15 but, as it's so lovely they can spend the day in the garden.
Enjoy your days everyone
Good morning, Bright and sunny in Cheshire.
Mornin' all.
I do singing in a group called Singing for Fun, not 'alf as posh as a choir - but it is fun. Not today though, as it was last week and will be next week, leaving me free today to go to Oxford and see my daughter - and a solicitor.
Why - well I have been very quiet about my neighbours and their neglected house recently, but things are actually worse than they were. See another thread somewhere soon!
Cheers everyone....
Good morning everyone. Bright and calm in East Sussex. Not doing much today, isn't retirement great. The agricultural show on Saturday is beginning to look like it will be another wet one. It's such a shame because a huge amount of work goes into the one day. The DGC Love the mud however.
Lovely sunny day here. Makes a huge difference to the start of the day
Hop your rehearsals go well Gaga love the fashion of that era.
Love to see GC out playing in the garden kitty. Hopefully you can have a rest later if they are still at the nap stage
School Induction Day for GD2. GD is excited about it, her Mummy though is not very happy her baby will be starting school in August
Morning each - nice to hear the whole country (almost) is having good weather. I'm off to golf at midday. Have been talked into playing for my branch of the Rotary Club in a semi-finale so I'm very nervous. They other 3 are all men and although quite high handicappers they haven't seen the awfulness of my golf yet so 4 hours of humiliation await me!
Pray for me!
Good morning. The weather app on my phone told me this morning that it was foggy here. It was lying. It was and still is a glorious morning. The forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain. Hope that's also wrong.
Morning all.
Is N.Kent the only place that's overcast ?
A quiet day for me, except taking and picking up DH for one of his gardening jobs.
I think it must be! My daughter is in mid-Kent and she too is overcast. I had breakfast in the garden this morning as at 8am it was already 18C - in my short cotton nightie! For some reason I really fancied milky coffee and a roll with Nutella - I was instantly back in France as a child.
Choir for me tonight too. Rutter's Sprig of Thyme and Hiawatha's Wedding amongst others though. And they consider those lowbrow. I really fancy a nice musical on occasion. It's our choir's 40th birthday concert this year, I am going to suggest something lighter tonight and hope I don't get shot down.
Lovely morning here. Yesterday evening I got home at 7.45 pm, just in time to watch three Great Tit chicks fledging. They were being fed on my apple tree. The dog had noticed them and was watching them through the back door, causing a commotion. So tiny - I hope they are all ok.
Good morning, it is another pleasant day here. Have to make a trip to the Optician today as I broke my reading glasses yesterday just as I was going to pick up GD from nursery.
janerowena Hiawatha's wedding reminds me of DD and her school choir, music teacher needed to conduct the choir, during the concert, so DD played the piano but had to sing as well
Apparently it was the first piece the choir ever sang, 40 years ago. I sang it at school too, I wish they had picked something else!
