Well I am on the absinthe- big moonlight dinner tonight with the international absinthe fans- and a big festival tomorrow to celebrate our local produce- cheers.
Hello, I'm new so hope it's ok to just join in the chat (champagne and cake for me too please if there's ever any spare!) You obviously have a lot of fun but it's nice to read how much support you give to each other. I've never joined anything online before so need a large to recover (any excuse)!
Enjoying you're break in Gozo Bella. Goodness knows you both deserve it and I hope it helps recharge your batteries. If only we could do more for you, but remember we are always here. ((((((((Hugs)))))). Sending the strongest healing and positive vibes your way. Love to you both x
Pleased to hear that McSporran is showing some improvement Soop and no need to wonder where you GD got her talent from. Well done that girl.
A very Happy Belated birthday When. 64 again! I am still qualified to sing the song but have made the same decision as you. 64 suits me and I won't be bothering with anymore birthdays now.
Just need to tell you that MacSporran gave me a special hug and kissed me on the top of my head. he must be feeling better than he was at this time yesterday. Onwards and all that...or, as our bags would say, hey ho! x
Best wishes to you and yours Bella, enjoy your time on Gozo. Well done to your granddaughter Soop. Glad that MacSporran is showing signs of improvement, if only a little, great oaks from tiny acorns grow!
Popping in to see how MacSp is - I do hope he's over the worst. Happy birthday, Lona, hope you enjoy your day. And congratulations to you granddaughter soop - hard work rewarded! I thought I was having a child-free day today, the first this week, and had planned a mega-tidy. Apparently now they're 'popping in' after the eldest finishes school. That'll be me tidying up again later, then.... I don't really mind- they're my greatest blessings really.
Happy Birthday Lona. I hope you have a really lovely day
Forgot to mention it was my birthday a couple of days ago (distracted) . I've been treated to a couple of meals out and had the nicest birthday tea with my grandsons (5) who produced a chocolate Smarties cake for them me. I even got a slice of it!
Bellasnana I hope that once you get the routine in your stride it won't be as daunting as it may appear now. My sister spent a few months on chemo and, whilst she was quite sick for one of the three weeks cycle, she did have good weeks and regulars who we got to know were all affected differently. Some sailed through it and some were glad to get to the finish and not have to face the strong medication again. Along the way, we met some lovely people and had some good times, believe it or not.
soop I hope today finds MacSporran feeling a bit better. Looking forward to hearing some more positive news
Goodness I have missed all of this but send belated but no less sincetr hugs to ?doop* and bellasnana. I wish you a relaxing and restoring holiday firmly believing that the fitter/ better prepared you are before a course of treatment, the better you respn.d to it. I hope you are both able to recharge your batteries in prep for the long haul ahead.
