I remember many years ago, a work colleague of mine said that she was going "To see the Pope" On her return from the visit I asked her what he said - and of course the answer was "Oh! you don't actually meet the Pope, you just see him". We live and learn.

My late best friend went to a Catholic Christening with her children: The congregation turned to each other with 'Peace be with you' My friend said afterwards how nice it was that so many people were saying 'Pleased to meet you' - It was her first time. Her children found it very amusing.
