I have just sat for a coffee break in the middle of the weekly housework and listened to Vaughn Williams "Lark Ascending". I live on the South Downs and this piece of music absolutely transports me to the many walks I have had on the Downs with the grasses and wild flowers blowing in the breeze and larks singing their hearts out.
It is sublime. In fact I wouldn't mind listening to this as I pass out of this mortal coil!!!
