teetime I would be sorely tempted to attack those side bits with my scissors - but probably not a good idea as I can't manage to cut a straight line! Very annoyed with John Lewis who managed to leave one roll of wallpaper off my delivery and I now have to wait another five days - grr. Hoping they get the batch right - they have been told! Off to take it out on the weeds on the allotment (when it stops raining)

The two fellas are out in the garden. They do most things together. Rory officiates and MacS keeps a watchful eye on his whereabouts. Should he [Rory] stray too far [just out of sight] MacS stops what he's doing and wanders off to encourage him back where he belongs. Tortoiseshell cat is far from timid, 'though she continues to creep under the hydrangea whenever I place her supper dish within easy reach. She has never looked better. Could it be that chicken is more nutritious than mouse!
