Spoke to my sister today. She is feeling a little better and tomorrow will see the doctor at the Hospice. Her words were 'I'm in the Last Chance Saloon, but I'm still drinking at the bar'!

I am hoping to visit her next month when we have friends coming over to Malta who will help DD's 2 and 3 with visiting DH in hospital. He will manage fine without me for a week and I'm sure he will not even miss me

I envy you all who have had the pleasure of having sisters. My brothers are great but I doubt it's the same and I love one of my sister's in law but we don't really have a shared past! And she is a bit odd sometimes!!

The tiler for the kitchen company has just been to give me a quote for the new tiling.
He is about 30 and he is flipping gorgeous! Absolutely flipping gorgeous with a lovely manner.

It must be lovely to have a sister, I have three lovely sisters-in-law and did have a lovely best friend who was like a sister, but sadly no longer with us, although she is always in my head (I know I should say 'heart' but I feel as if she speaks to me when I have a problem).

DH has made some custard to go with baked apples from our tree; I must awa, he is calling.

Hello all- thank you all for you support - a bit better today had my chiropody to take off nasty bits and bobs again and new hairdo so that feel better. I hope you are all Ok today so thought we'd have a glass of bubbly as its nearly the weekend.

anno I think the NO news is good for us all especially if it paves the way for greater localism for us all. I think Westminster has been too complacent and to centralist for years. They could do with this boot up the fundament before the next election.
