Good Morning Monday

Not bad in Durham. Bright white clouds with patches of blue.DH has done a lot of sighing as he has to reapply for a driving licence and post the income tax and tax a car. I wish he would just get on and not sigh.

The gap happened and my shed now covered with a tarpaulin for now - will let it dry out.

Just hung up my wet weather gear from walking the dog. Teaming for the full hour or so. South Downs covered in mist, looking out to sea there was no glimmer of finer weather. No birds singing, sloshing noise accompanying me on our walk.

However the man who is going to fix my shed roof is going to come and make preliminary preparations...supposing the gap in the rain he predicts does happen....

And the gardener wouldn't have come in this anyway!

Rain most of the night, only just stopped her in N. Kent. No wind though which we're told to expect.

Pouring today - taken ourselves of golf and having a day indoors. Bad nights sleep so lots of coffee and a sit down.

I was going to go into Colchester today, but will wait until DH gets home and we can go in the car. [brolly emoticon]

Good Morning all. Just drying up a bit in East London. Storm last night gave me a banging headache so sitting here with a nice cuppa and friends from GN while I recover.

Nonnotgran, likewise here, chucking it down in our part of N. Essex (Tiptree), luckily I don't have to go out.

It's the charity shop this morning so with this rain few customers.
My chicken scratch embroidery is coming on well. It's such an easy / very difficult type of work.

Good morning all, and yep! it is is (oh! was! - it has stopped) pouring with rain here too! Think it is going to be a day of heavy showers, and we have to go out unfortunately, never mind had a day indoors yesterday, so the fresh air will be good for us - I just have to try to convince the other half of that. Enjoy your days.

Good morning its wild and windy out, daughter and OH have left and I'm still in bed with a cuppa reading the news.
