Yes, I could read it and very quickly too! I don't think that means I am clever, pmpoa (just very used to deciphering dreadful handwriting for years!).

It reminds me of the sketch with Morcambe and Wise and Andre Previn where all the right notes were played but not necessarily in the right order!

To be really clever, you have to be able to read a similar text in a foreign language, lol

Yes, but what proportion of the population can read it? 90% understanding it 10% not has very different implications from 10% can 90% can't

I've received a few of those emails and never had any problem reading them, hardly noticing the difference. But then I was an English teacher for 40 years and have read my share of gobbldygook.

So now that I know I'm brilliant what shall I do with this knowledge?

I read it easily. There's hope for me yet.

It is just all the right words, in the right order, but each one anagramised. Anyone can work it out, and if you have solved it, take a look at my (sadly neglected) thread of cyphers ("Cyphers from 70 years ago" in "Other subjects")

The half-term stuff was random rubble, organised into what give the appearance of sentences. No-one could make sense of that in a month of Sundays.

I found it OK. Getting letters in the wrong order comes with my dyslexia. My brain can spell most things, double consonants give me trouble, but my hands cannot easily write letters in the right order. I have to think about each letter as I write it.
