Good Morning Sunday

Thankyou dustyangel , she is recovering but its painful and slow. We are all hoping she will be well enough to pick up her active and work life again one day and that all the plans they had made will once again be possible..
We had a lovely dinner and after chocolate cake and cup of tea they made their way home with Grandson driving her car, she was telling me that is the thing she can't come to terms with yet, losing her independence. She can't just open her front door and go out either walking or driving alone.

Tanith, that is such a shame. It must help her a lot to be able to get out in such a relaxed atmosphere.

Nothing exciting Greenfinch just not following chiropractors orders of almost complete bed rest with limited sitting out and ice packs. My ex boss (chiropractor) used to say don't sit for more than half an hour at the acute stage.
Maybe creaking across the room in between half hours isn't enough.

Dark and gloomy here , have grandson and his wife coming for Sunday lunch so I've pushed the boat out and have a piece of beef on the go.. all vegs prepared and a chocolate cake for dessert. This beautiful young lady had a bleed on the brain six months ago and is still recovering so she finds going out and holding conversations very taxing so I'm happy for them to come and eat then leave as and when she is ready to go home... such a life changing event in their newly married status. It will be nice to see them though.

Morning all, a bright sunny day, as far as I can tell. I'm flat on my back in bed obeying instructions after overdoing it a bit yesterday. I'm not in real pain,..until I try to stand upright.

Cold, foggy start in Northumberland today. DS coming for lunch so I'm making a rich beef stew. Some sort of fruit crumble for pudding perhaps.

Thanks ninathenana. I had looked at the instructions for smiley faces etc but hadn't twigged the bold one.

Dark clouds but had a dry walk. Darling dog had a fight with a border collie this morning. We usually to put both on the lead as they always swear at each other when passing but this morning unfortunately met on a corner. Sounded as if they were killing each other, but no problems. On the lead all the way back with me moaning at him!! Not that he took a blind bit of notice - had clearly enjoyed himself immensely.

To make a name bold type * at the beginning and end with no spaces.

Damp amd misty here in mid Essex too. No particular plans for the day but must factor in an exercise session as outlined by the physiotherapist yesterday. Exciting stuff eh?.

Good Morning everyone from a light grey morning in Lancashire. There's a real damp Autumn feel and the trees are almost bare now.
Some tidying up in the garden to do I think before the rain returns!

Damp here in N Kent with no wind but it looks like it might brighten.

Been worried all night about DD she was driving from Kent to Newcastle after work last night. Said she'd text when she arrived. No reply from her or the person she was going to see.
