I met Edwina Currie at a WI meeting she was talking to. I am, as some will recall, not a Conservative supporter. However I did think her talk, about the need for more women to get actively involved in politics, was very good. She carefully avoided any party politics and talked about life for women in Westminster and the institutional sexism there. She came across as someone who enjoyed life to the full and as a 'cup half full' no-nonsense kind of person. I did not dislike her and I guess we would enjoy some great debates! Agree I would not want her as my MP though, prefer someone left of centre rather than right!
I have not seen her on IAACGMOOH but am fairly confident it is all set up /edited to attract controversy and therefore viewing figures.
