Everyone else having a lie in today. I would be too but have to take DGS to nursery.

Sun not up yet but we're forecast a bright day. With heavy rain and high winds later.

Morning all grey and wet start to the day here in East Northant but not windy at present.

Cold windy other wise ifs not too bad in north essex this morning

Good morning to you all, it is dry here on the south coast, and looks as if it might be a pleasant day, but as we all know, in this country anything can happen in the blink of an eye. Enjoy your days.

I have been out , and got my cycling magazine ,and its windy but rain/sleet bursts.

Morning all. We have a little bit of snow, a sky full of snow clouds, and a promise of more strong winds.

Good morning all. Cold and snowy this morning on my way home from work. The bus driver kept missing the stops because of the snow.
More is forecast throughout the day.
Today is my birthday, and I arrived on just such a day 63 years ago.

Good morning everyone.
Bright and chilly in Mid Essex - in fact sun just coming fully out as I type. Last day of double glazing installaton today. Just the new front and back doors to go in. I seem to have spent the last couple of days making tea every hour on the hour but they have worked very hard so I am not complaining

Many happy returns hilda. Bit of a mixture here in Manchester - rain, bits of blue sky and windy. If it eases off, I will be shinning up the huge Christmas tree in the garden to festoon it with lights, much to the alarm of my younger neighbours, who obviously think I am too old for such larks! As pride goeth before a fall, I hope I won't be posting tomorrow that I am in A & E with a broken limb.

First time poster here in North Staffordshire where it is cold and very grey. Just off to take lodger dog for his (and my) morning walk. Hopefully it will stay dry!
