I'm pretty sure we've discussed this before, but there is a radio chap who was trying to pinpoint where one particular Northern accent ended and another began.
I can't for the life of me remember his name, even though I always enjoy the programmes he does.
I do remember him talking about the pronunciation of the word "house", and how some people say "I've just had double glazing fitted in me arse" or "I inherited me arse from me mother"
