Good Morning Good Friday

Good morning Mick, very wet and dismal here.
Hope it brightens up later, I need please.
Enjoy the Bank Holiday everyone

North essex weather this morning is not very nice very dull and very wet and still raining
hope you all enjoy good Friday

Good morning everyone.
Very gloomy and wet in Northumberland today. Still, lots planned for indoors. Pace eggs to boil, washing to do, but first of all, breakfast to make, I'm hungry! See you later.

Morning all.

Raining in N Kent and forecast for most of the day. Quite mild though and no wind.
Trip to Asda this morning.

Good morning!

North Leicestershire is very murky this morning with rain forecast but the weather looks to be getting better for the weekend!

Lots of cooking on the cards today ready for the influx of visitors over the weekend!

Enjoy Good Friday, everyone!

Light rain here, might not need the sprinkler if it continues.

Good morning all.
Looks damp here but not investigated yet.
A very quiet Easter for us with no visitors. I hope for those to whom it matters, a reflective Good Friday and for all a Happy Easter.

Good morning from Plymouth. A typical start to the Easter weekend here, gloomy and raining. Nothing much happening in this household, daughter stayed overnight with dog, so husband will be dog-walking. Then hot X buns for all
Happy Easter to you all.

Morning all- bit damp here(!) but off to golf before the family influx- cooked all day for them yesterday so I hope they are hungry.

A wet Good morning to all from mid Essex, A quiet Eastef for us. Both DDs are away but DS and DDIL will be coming in some time for a cup of tea. They live just round the corner. As does DGS but at 20 years old with a full time job and hectic social life we only get flying visits but at least he does drop in!

Good morning all from Cheshire, where it's ppppeeeing down!
Got to clean out the airing cupboard today. It's thick with dust from a small gap in the skirting, which let in loads of muck from next door. The builders have taken all the rooms back to the brick!
Just what I needed! All my clean bedding and towels, spare duvets etc. are in there!

Fed up to the back teeth with overcast skies and cold wind and now today the wind has dropped but it is raining. When IS it going to get better??

Damp and dreary in south Devon..... but could be worse. I'm in the mood for counting my blessings today. Taking my grandson bird-watching later.
At least it is dry inside bird-hides.

hen we used to live in South Brent

Ah! I know it well. It's a nice village. Just down the motorway from here. I'm 5 miles outside Newton Abbot, near Bovey Tracey.

My parents lived in South Brent. They have since died.

Woke up in the night with chest pain and unable to cough (I have had bronchitis for a couple of weeks). Got a temp and sore throat this morning, so cannot meet up with GC who are all now at my local DD's house. Very frustrating - we have been looking forward to this!

Good evening from the Indian Ocean on the way to Sri Lanka. I totally forgot how to spell that yesterday, this thing called Dyslexia really is a pain at times when words disappear. Sri Lanka is back however. Air temperature 30c and sea temperature 30c. Saw flying fish today.
Have a great Easter. We had Hot cross buns with breakfast. We have a time Chang of 1 and 1/2 hours tonight. Very strange but it brings us closer to UK time.

henetha was it Stover Park you were going bird-watching? Great place, love going there with my camera

Stover is lovely, just five minutes from here. But today we went to
Yarner Woods, near the moors, and sat in a bird hide for ages. Saw the usual chaffinches, siskins, etc., and also mandarin ducks. Then we walked up to the higher bird hide hoping to see something different, but no luck. It was lovely though, if a bit damp and chilly.
Then we went to MacDonalds in Newton Abbot and ate burgers.

I haven't been there - might have to take a ride out there some time. A burger is always a good way to round off an afternoon out in the cold and damp

I hope you make it. Yarner woods is lovely (or should that be, are lovely!). There are some great walks there for the energetic.
Yes, burgers are always first choice when I take my grandson out.
Cheers.
