That is a really nice idea nankate. I personally would welcome a birthday and an anniversary wish.

How would we organise this? The Remembrance thread is a good idea

Thanks Jane for the early good wishes. I am a September birthday. I like the idea of a Remembrance thread.

At my WI we give a birthday card to each member which I think is particularly nice for some of the members who are on their own and when there is a significant birthday we arrange a cream tea.

Couldn't there be a Remembrance thread for them? There could be several threads. All people need to do is 'watch' them in order to find them when they want them.

It's a long way in both directions from my birthday, but I think it's a good idea to celebrate each others' birthdays, so Bump!
