The most glorious day and have been out in it all day, ambling around, pub lunching and more ambling plus got the dog stripped. 24c - wonderful!

Such a beautiful day here on the edge of West London. I agree with your comments annsixty, I don't post on this thread that often, but like to read the comments of those that do, I have noticed PRINTMISS has been absent for a while. I like the way she describes her days she sounds a very nice lady. I think she may be one of the older members on GN, I hope she wouldn't mind me saying that. Hope she and her husband are well and she comes back soon.

Good morning, overcast today but not cold. Going to visit my sister and say cheerio as she is going back to her home in Germany tomorrow.

We were woken by a torrential storm over head. Folowed by heavy rain and clouds. Now the sun is just trying to get through. I hope it succeeds, we have a man coming this afternoon to decide how much he will give us on our old car if we buy one of his bright shiny new ones. Our car park will be a mud patch if the sun doesn't dry it up a bit.

You lucky lot ! cold wet and dark here in Co Armagh ..... sigh . Off to Seniors club in a moment , have to finish putting yesterdays washing on the clothes horse ,

Good morning everyone! We had a lovely day yesterday and it's already looking like a repeat here on the S.E. Hampshire coast. I scrubbed the glass top patio table and chairs yesterday and put the parasol up. Feels and looks summery!

I have put a dress on to let some skin see the sun as the temperature is due to drop again tomorrow.

Kitty what a good mother and makes me ask, did you get help to clean,tidy , put things to rights when you were young? I don't think many of us did and I'm sure we have all been where you are today.

It's a beautiful start in North Leicestershire so all the visitors' bedding from last week should be able to be dried outside.

Off to Derby to pick up DGC from school and to help to tidy up their house before it goes up for sale!

I have six more tomato seedlings up than I had last night.
