Good morning Mick and everyone. It looks a bit brighter this morning, I'm happy to say as I'm off to Edinburgh to meet some of our granspals.

Grey here in N-W London as usual. I should be on holiday in France but hubby was taken ill and couldn't travel so I am off to my regular art class for the day.

Good morning to you all, a brightish morning here, and a PLAN to get rid of a lot of rubbish from the garage - if I can persuade the other half that we do not need it - disposed of one lot last week, so getting there. What a disappointment about the holiday Humbertbear hope hubby is recovers soon. Otherwise, enjoy your days everyone.

Overcast here in Colchester, but it was the same yesterday and it turned out glorious - we had to hunt for the factor 30 Low 20s predicted today. I will be indoors at Family History Group this afternoon.

There is a bit of blue sky showing through the grey clouds and the forecast is good . DH and I both still have a fluey bug with lots of aches, so he is cancelling his patients and I am cancelling a lunch date with 3 friends!

Let us know how your husband is Humbert. What a shame about your holiday.

Good morning. Very grey at present in Cheshire. There are signs that it should clear up a bit later.

It's drizzling here in N.Staffs. There's nothing positive to say about drizzle unless it's on a lemon cake.

We have sunshine in my corner of Northumberland. It's rather windy though, and not that warm. 23° not expected here. The best we can hope for is 13°. Now I have to go and hand wash my smalls, since the washing machine is broken and we have no launderette.

Humbertbear, I hope your husband is improving and that you both manage to get a holiday later. It's so disappointing when you have to cancel one.

Oh humbertbear, how miserable for you both. It's about 14C here at the moment, and the sun has just come out of the haze. We got to 23C yesterday, it looks as if we might do again. I'll be gardening in the shady areas, then.
