Three Queens Liverpool/Merseyside

I went today. It was hard to see much due to the sheer number of people. The atmosphere was great and the ships looked amazing. Used to work in the Cunard building and loved the historical connection and watching the ships on the Mersey. My colleagues who live in Liverpool used to laugh when I got excited when a ship went past!

My friend who lives in Pensby is going down there, I was hoping to have visited there this weekend but could not manage. I am sure it will be a lovely sight. Will try the website.

Are any of our Liverpool/Birkenhead GNers going down to the river today to watch the "river dance" being performed by the three Cunard Cruise Liners? I would imagine that would be quite something to see. Might even see the Red Arrows later!
