'Dementia' villages

I noticed that the one in the Netherlands costs €5000 a month - I'm not sure how this compares with the cost of care in this country.
I suppose having all those doctors and nurses on hand would be handy for anyone wishing to end their life under the Netherlands Euthanasia Laws

Having worked with dementia sufferers, I think that many people would like to live in this way.
Some, tho, could feel confused by it if they were aware that it was not their usual home town. It could be like a bad dream.
Of course, having to deal with a care home environment can't be much fun for someone with dementia, either.

One part of me says its a fab idea and the other part says its a bit like building a habitat in a zoo. Must have major think about this.

There is a care home in Suffolk that has built a replica old style High St. for the benefit of residents. The dementia villa is under construction in Warrington so Google tells me.

Heard about this a while ago. I believe there is a similar facility somewhere in UK.
I think it's a great idea.
