Lovely Gransnetters

I just feel that the point of this site is so that we can support each other. Most of us are struggling with something. Obviously there is room for heated debate, but no need to be horrible.

Here, here, KatyK - most Gransnetters are very kind indeed. I really appreciated the kind, thoughtful comments I had yesterday when, on impulse and feeling down in the dumps, I posted on my 47th anniversary.

Can't they be reported to GN?
If someone abused me in a pm I wouldn't hesitate just in case someone else got one too.

It does make me wonder what some people are like in 'real' life

Flipping iPad, I meant it is very underhand, but it seems to print anything it likes, a mind of it's own.

I think that it is totally unecessary to send abusive and aggressive pms. Why not say what they want to say "in public" or are they too afraid? It is so much easier to upset one GN on her own at home privately. They are cowards- one reason why I stay with soop's kitchen and other posts where I am not likely to be screamed at because my views are different. This came out loud and clear at the run up to the elections. I stayed well clear.

That's a rotten thing to happen Gagagran, but at least there is the blocking thing on here.It's very underhand to send nasty messages by pm.

Gagagran If they are abusive you should have reported them.

Sorry to hear that Gagagran. I can't imagine what gets into people sometimes.

As the saying goes " if you can't say something nice then just say nothing at all" !

Oh that's nasty! I'm glad you blocked them- would you feel like pm- ing the names to me I'll block them too- there are some postings on here that leave you wondering about some people!!

About a month ago I had two very unpleasant and aggressive pms which upset me a lot and has made me very wary of posting much. I did block the sender. Not everyone on GN is kind.

I agree I had two messages yesterday and they were very much appreciated and gave me a boost.

There are always kind words here for those that need them. Gners can be very supportive.
