Good morning everyone. I'm home again safely, why does it always seem to take a whole day travelling?
Horrid weather, low grey cloud covering the hills although it's not cold. Apparently it's been like this for the past week. Not very nice for those on holiday.

Yesterday was a nice day here, breezy enough to get the washing dry!

Good morning to you all, we have the sunshine this morning, and the wind has definitely dropped, thank goodness. Yesterday was a good day too, managed to get out into the garden and tidy one or two bits and pieces. Today we shall visit the library for me to sort out the other half's books - he has audio books because his eyesight is not good enough for reading (driving is fine), and both his cd player and tape recorder have given up on him, so we are going to find some audio books which just need batteries and ear-phones, not sure what they are called. Enjoy your days.

It's greyish with a hint of a lurking sun in North Leicestershire and we have thunderstorms on the way before the weekend. I agree, we could do with a bit of summer!

Sainsbury's with DGD3 who only has a very short tolerance of shopping this morning. I might visit mum this afternoon as she has a uti, again!
