Good Morning Sunday

A showery morning in our holiday cottage ( not actually ours) in Northunberland overlooking the coquet valley. Sheep huddled under trees but the view is breathtaking and I'm happy to sit here taking in the beauty of nature. Sun may just be creeping through now, hooray. So we will drive across to the coast later. Yes happy fathers' day!

Off to see the open gardens today, the sun is shining! x

Good morning one and all. Bright with showers here today. Just finished cooking pineapple upside down cake for after what was supposed to be a family lunch today. DD has now decided they will drop in to say hello to DS and party but they haven't got time to lunch. Huge disappointment.

It is bright here in Northumberland, but only for short periods, then we have heavy showers. It is still windy and cool too. I really need some summer weather!

It's quite bright in North Leicestershire but the forecast is for showers. The longest day was also my favourite grandfather's birthday.

Wonder whether you came to look at our open gardens, J52? There was quite a lot of heavy rain so it might not have been a pleasant experience!

DS1 is coming for lunch today which will be lovely!

Weather not very promising here in mid Essex.

Good morning to you all, and happy father's day to any dad's on here or anywhere else, for that matter.
Our son is coming to lunch today, something we enjoy, although after his meal he will want to go home again, which is great because he is so happy living with his friends.
Spent too long in the garden yesterday and ache in places I did not know I had. The company of a very young robin was very much appreciated.

Happy Father's Day/Beltane.

Bright, sunny with a light breeze here this morning. Yesterday the day went downhill rapidly weather wise. Hopefully it'll stay fine today.

Off to the gym shortly - once the pain killers kick in - for a quick row down an imaginary river. I've tried all the other stuff but really only vaguely like the rowing machine. I really don't like gyms. But my knees are better so I must stir myself.
