Cheers Dusty. Off to Yorkshire Dales walking with dog for the week. Weather actually not looking too bad now so have repacked bag with lighter stuff. Last time we were there it was 30c for a couple of days . Hired a cottage absolutely in the Middle of nowhere. Be dark at night

Afternoon all. Georgeous in the Surrey Hills today. I ought to be doing housework and weeding, but having a coffee break before doing some necessary filing. Possibly.

Good afternoon all. It has been a lovely week here. Deep blue skies and the temperature in the mid twenties. Today it turned HOT. Even hanging out the washing was a bit of an effort. Thank goodness we got everything sorted out for DGS's visit earlier in the week.
I'm not doing anything else today except maybe supermarket shop in an airconditioned shop.

I mega slept in this morning. Didn't wake up till after eight o'clock. Very unusual. Mind you, I was sitting up in bed eating a MiniMagnum and drinking tea at 0130 and then doing some knitting. That's also unusual.

Working from home today trying to get work paperwork backlog cleared as DD taking me off on holiday next week. Housework later and ensuring fridge stocked for DH,who isn't coming to Spain with us, so he won't starve
