I agree Leticia, I was shocked at the demands made and criticism of the queen at that time. I don't think the queen should abdicate, should illness befall her Charles can become Prince Regent and the queen remain Queen, I am not a royalist or a republican

I think Camilla should be Queen consort like the Queen Mum was to George VI

Do stop not picking on the royals ! No one gets it right all the time, they are in press and TV so often just now, I think they d o a very good job of looking good but not over the top!

George looked gorgeous and seems to have a look of Michael Middleton about him facially. Loved the pram too.

Poor little chap. He will be so embarrassed by the photos when he is older.it would be different if he were wearing the actual outfit that William wore which was altogether nicer and a much better fit.

If they don't have anymore offspring and the pram becomes redundant, perhaps George can have the wheels to build a racing trolley like we used to when we were young! A set of pram wheels was a find indeed! Sure he could find a bit of old Chippendale to make the body!

William and Harry are very fond of Tiggy. She assumed a big sisterly kind of role in their lives after Diana died. They no longer needed a nanny anyway.

Jolly times at Tiggy's family home were probably just what they needed.

Jingle, Tiggy wasn't a nanny , the Windsor PR team again , her mother is lady in waiting to Anne and a close friend, when Tiggy was employed ! to look after the children it wasn't coincidence that Charles and Camilla were holding trysts at tiggy's family home , they all met up for jolly times , Charles , Camilla, Anne and their children plus a few other windsors

I think that the photos we ave seen so far of the christening were lovely and up hold all the old traditions we are sadly loosing. I loved pushing my "big pram" when my children were born and as for little George why not hang on to the children's outfit he wore, as children grow up so quickly and it is a shame to make them look older or fashionable before their time.
Both William and Kate look proud of their children and judging by the picture spend time with them to.

I was baptised in an heirloom christening robe and my four siblings after me.It was given to my grandmother by her employer when my mother was born in 1919.This lady had it made for her own son but as he was an only child and had no children of his own she gave it to my grandma.My mother and her brother were both baptised in it before we were.
It was a long white lace trimmed dress and I had hoped to use it for my own two children but by then it had become too fragile so I had to be content with them wearing white romper suits instead.
I have kept though, it lies rolled up in a cupboard.
I made my youngest granddaughter's christening robe, from a Vogue pattern, it is white dupion silk with a silk tulle overlay.
I would love to see the royal christening robe, just so I can make a copy!
