It's always poignant when events and anniversaries happen for the first time that we associate with certain people. I will raise a glass to Sparklefizz when the Strictly music starts.

We are out to dinner with my darling sister and her young family this evening, so I will watch strictly tomorrow on iplayer.

I always think of my mum when it’s on as if she wasn’t with us here, we would message each other throughout 😿

A nice gesture to remember Sparklefizz on this thread, she loved Strictly. We do miss her on the 50 book thread too, where she was an avid contributor.

Im glad to see Sparklefizz in the title too.
Its so sad to watch without her but lovely to know how many remember her .

Not a dance observation, but Emma’s dress looks rather an insipid colour to me.

Think she would look better with a stronger colour.

Just my personal opinion, of course.

Emma is a great presenter. Not sure about Josh and Johannes yet, think it may take time for them to settle in.
Think La Voix should have been the other presenter to Emma.
Hoping it all goes smoothly tonight.

I love love love Emma Willis! But I’m
also a huge fan of JoJo.

I do like Josh, but feel he was an odd choice, but love this show, the judges crack me up and I’m willing to give it all a fair chance.
