well I haven't been winding anyone up recently apart from the thread about Wimbledon and everyone ignored me. Oh well that's life. Ive been sooo bored that I actually watched a couple of matches one afternoon and it wasn't so bad.
I really must think of some 'windy up' remarks soon to liven things up a bit or you will all think Ive gone soft.

This thread and so many others, quite a few of them recently, are just like that story: It was a dark and stormy night and the captain said to the bo'sun, "Tell us a story". Today we have gale force winds, temp struggling to reach 14C and driving rain!!! Those feeling the heat should count yourselves lucky!

I'm not getting at anyone jingl just passing a comment about how I see GN now. But, there are ways of putting the opposite point of view that are fairly gentle which is what is needed if someone is so 'upset' that they feel the need for some support.

I have had loads of support on GN, and hopefully, been able to give some. I have been very upset about the way a close family member has been treated over the last few days but feel reluctant to mention it on here because of all the harshness.

Well if you are getting at me kittylester, I have put my point of view across on the 'dilemma' thread, and if goes against the grain, well, at least it's honest. What is the point anyone describing a problem in a thread if all they want are answers in accordance with how they already see the big picture?

Surely, it's not GN that is bad/nasty/getting worse it's the people on it! There have always been people who have been capable of being 'nasty' but I don't remember anyone being as unem/sym/pathetic previously in the good old days!
