Hope you have a good time Bellanonna! It should hopefully be a bit cooler and fresher in the mountains. It's the humidity here that's the killer!! I'm permanently damp!! You have a shower and can't get dry and even our small pool is like bathwater!! We will probably moan when it does rain as it will be a storm which will damage our crops!! Hey ho that's life!!

Turned out better than I thought. Grass is cut and the garden looks good. About 18 here so I'm very glad not to be abroad.

Oh no nonna susie. We're off to Italy tomorrow. I hate the heat. It's usually a bit cooler in the Dolomites though so fingers x'd it won't be 41. Our three little nipotini are coming out too, aged 3, 2 and 1 so I hope we can find lots of shade. I hope you get the rain you desire, but keep it down there please as rain in the mountains is not very pleasant!

Good morning from a grey muggy Colchester. Forecast promises a warm day but I expect humidity.

Visiting MIL today and taking baby GS to try to animate her a bit. Spent yesterday at indoor play centre with 4 year old so need something quieter today!
