It`s a bit late now for a weather report, but after some rin earlier this morning, it`s fined up now, sunny but windy, not hot, but warm enough.

Light showers here in Herefordshire, but better to come we are told.

Eye test later today - no doubt it will cost me an arm and a leg in new glasses - hey ho.

Our music room is filled with a new pop-up tent which I bought for the children - we cannot fathom how to pop it down! No doubt we will have to sing round it!

It's looking a little brighter out now- better than the grey start here in Wiltshire anyway.
I'm hiding indoors as DH is stomping around trying to set up a new pond filter/pump thingy....and I assume it's not going too well from the huffing and puffing (I daren't suggest he reads the instructions that are sitting on the table!)

I need to go and wash my car before putting the roast on then hopefully i can safely broach the subject of clearing out the garden shed!

Good morning from Colchester. It rained in the early hours but we now have blue sky and a nice day promised. A walk this morning to blow away the cobwebs from last night's wine and then settling down to watch the Davis cup. Yesterday's doubles was fabulous, so much more lively than Wimbledon.

Very overcast here and it's just started raining. Not a breath of wind.

We're helping run the racing in the 'Box' at our local sailing club today and I'd looked forward to watching some exciting racing. But it looks as if it's going to be quite boring. Not so good is that we'll be putting our sailing boat on the For Sale list. Decrepitude has overtaken us. We'll still have the summer though at least. Like houses selling boats is a slow motion thing.
