What are you singing?

Thank you so much - it is lovely to have all this support in the absence of a family presence - it means a great deal to me.

What are we singing?........a whole raft of different songs, folks songs from Romania and Britain, gospel songs. Songs from all different eras. And a commissioned work from Pete Churchill, who is professor of jazz at the Royal Academy. It is a 20 minute work on the theme of the immigration of Poles to this county in the aftermath of the war - it is quite emotional, and quite topical with the current problem of people wishing to shelter in our country at the moment.

I am conducting half the concert; and praying that the stress does not set off my heart arrhythmia. Fingers crossed.

I've just been looking at the website. Looks an amazing festival. You must be very proud to be part of it.
