I will sometimes say to people 'sympathise your watches' Yes I know it is wrong, but I heard it once, and at amused me. I love to see peoples faces, they are not sure whether to correct me - because they know I quite like words - or just take it as it is. I would not say it amongst people I do not know, don't want to appear ignorant.
