No no I couldn't possibly eat a dessert !

What wouldn't you say?

ginny Tue 25-Aug-15 09:47:07

"I wouldn't dream of going off to do something interesting dear, 'll sit here and watch the Grand Prix / cricket / golf / Top gear for as long as you would like me to ."

Nonnie Tue 25-Aug-15 10:12:50

I always give 120 per cent.

Like I said (when I haven't)

Falconbird Tue 25-Aug-15 10:18:01

Eastenders is so uplifting.

NanKate I wasn't asking if this is a trick question; I was asking if this is like a trick question – i.e. something you'll never hear me say.

Juliette Tue 25-Aug-15 10:24:50

'No, of course not my love, I can think of nothing better than watching football/cricket/anything involving a ball. You do indeed pay for EVERYTHING that is slightly TV related and it is indeed quite correct that you have first dibs at whatever sport is on said TV.'
Words that will never trip from my lips. smile

I really really struggled with this last night... hence no posting. I have two children with additional needs and there are lots of things I thought I would never say but have done... (do not lick your sister, your sister is not your slave, take your own socks off, you can not sleep on the bannisters)

However, Lona has come up with a certain one for me:

I'm going to clean right through the house today!

At least with mn down I may, (looks for flying pigs) get the flat cleaned up a bit more.

annodomini Tue 25-Aug-15 10:44:31

I'm so looking forward to the new series of the X-Factor...

GillT57 Tue 25-Aug-15 10:50:07

I so admire Simon Cowell. Such a lovely man, and I think it is fantastic that he had a child by his best friend's wife and then plastered details of his new family all mover the popular press.

kittylester Tue 25-Aug-15 11:17:26

I'll stick with Lona's suggestion! grin

StillTheLemon Tue 25-Aug-15 11:23:52

I'm so disappointed there's no more football on today, can we please check again to see whether some obscure European teams are playing?

kittylester Tue 25-Aug-15 12:27:51

I like that one, too StillTheLemon. I've thought of another one - I am so glad DD married that twerp! grin

rosesarered Tue 25-Aug-15 13:12:41

How about something the DH would never say?
" oh, God, the cat's been sick, but don't worry love, I will clean it up"grin

annsixty Tue 25-Aug-15 13:19:30

DH -" I'll cook the dinner tonight"!

Lona Tue 25-Aug-15 13:43:50

I wish I'd never got divorced! X2!

annsixty Tue 25-Aug-15 13:44:49

Brilliant Lona

annodomini Tue 25-Aug-15 13:50:05

Lona grin grin

kittylester Tue 25-Aug-15 13:52:42

Love it Lona!

Whilst DH would usually say 'Oh dear, the cat's been sick, I'll clear it up' you will never hear me say 'Oh look, the cat has brought in a bird, mouse, frog, bat - I'll sort it' shock

MammaTJ Tue 25-Aug-15 13:54:40

Oh Lona, same for me, with the x2 and everything!

Also 'I care so much about my house being clean and tidy, I am going to ignore the kids and crack on with it'.

Meh!

Icyalittle Tue 25-Aug-15 13:56:32

Ana Tue 25-Aug-15 18:35:29

TerriBull Tue 25-Aug-15 18:59:51
